Here is the variety of options EDCC Cubao can recommend to you for your vehicle's maintenance.
(It should be noted that this is a regular service provided by CASAs as part of the warranty service for new vehicles)
OPERATION AFTER ENGINE IS WARMED UP
1. Change engine oil and oil filter
2. Check / Adjust valve clearance ( except for vehicles with auto-lash adjusters )
3. Check / Adjust basic ignition timing ( petrol powered vehicles )
4. Check / Adjust basic idling speed and CO concentration ( petrol powered vehicles )
5. Check crankcase ventilation hoses ( petrol powered vehicles )
6. Check cooling system for leaks
7. Check fuel system clamp for looseness and damages
OPERATIONS INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPONENT
8. Check V-belts for cracks, fraying wear and adjust tension
9. Check condition of distributor contact points
10. Check condition of distributor spark advancer
11. Check condition of distributor cap, rotor and condenser
12. Check ignition cables for damages
13. Check vacuum pump oil hoses for damages ( diesel powered vehicles )
14. Check condition and clean spark plugs ( petrol powered vehicles )
15. Check air cleaner element for clogging and damages.
16. Check fluid level in automatic transmission ( including transfer )
17. Check engine coolant condition and level
18. Check brake / clutch fluid and power steering fluid level and condition.
19. Check / adjust brake pedal & clutch pedal for free play.
20. Check / top up battery electrolyte level and terminals for loose connections . corrosion; check batter clamp.
OPERATIONS UNDER THE VEHICLE
21. Check suspension system for looseness and damages.
22. Check suspension arm ball joints for play and dust covers for damages
23. Check drive shaft boots for damages.
24. Check steering linkage for damages & loose connections ( including seals & boots )
25. Check gear oil level in manual transmission ( including transfer case )
26. Check gear oil level in front & rear axles.
27. Check exhaust pipe connection / installation for gas leakages or damages.
28. Tighten underchassis bolts / nuts.
29. Check . adjust parking brake stroke and play.
OPERATIONS OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE
30. Check brake hoses & pipes for leakages.
31. Check fuel hoses and pipes for leakages.
32. Check tire wear, tread depth, inflation pressure, center cap and tire valve cap
33. Check windshield wiper nozzle and wiper blades.
ELECTRICAL OPERATIONS
34. Check condition and function of all exterior lamps
35. Check condition and function of all interior lamps.
36. Check instrument panel lamp.
37. Check all instrument panel meters and gauges.
38. Check function of all power windows, power mirrors and power door locks.
39. Check front.rear wipers in all ranges.
40. Check horn, observe if both high and low function equally.
41. Check power antenna.
